Each day, our nation becomes more diverse. To ensure that America benefits from that diversity, we must provide a coordinated and concentrated effort to develop policies of inclusion that meld with the fundamentals of American democracy and capitalism. Policy changes and institutional reforms must reflect a multi-faceted approach that addresses the business, economic, institutional and societal elements of inclusion.
Through discussion, trainings and workshops, the National Institute on Inclusion (NII) focuses on developing this integrated and multi-faceted approach to inclusion. At the Institute, we focus on providing much needed insight and real answers to inclusion issues covering business, employment, housing, immigration, agriculture, and education, among others. We offer policy makers, executives and administrators who grapple with equity issues a forum where they can engage in meaningful discussions and craft practical solutions. In our challenging environment, participants have the opportunity to engage in the creation of new definitions and standards for business and government that are truly inclusive, yet recognize the pioneering and innovative spirit that is our country's foundation. By so doing, NII assists the nation in navigating new terrain and promoting smooth transitions in a manner that moves our country forward as one.
